FAN ART CONTEST!!!

Hey Everybody!

We have received so much attention from all of you spreading the word across the internet and we want to repay you, our loyal and awesome fans, with an AWESOME FAN ART CONTEST!!! That's right, we want your drawings, paintings, photoshop experiments, sculptures, dunnys, munnys, other homemade toys, your baby dressed as Muno, your dog dressed like DJ Lance Rock, anything that is art and related to the show! Just send it to us at contact@yogabbagabba.com with the subject "Fan Art" and it will be judged by the creators of the show and even DJ Lance Rock himself! What is the grand prize you may ask? It is none other than your very own AUTOGRAPHED COPY OF THE PILOT ON DVD!!! This is not a one time deal, either, this is going to be bi-weekly, so every other Friday your pictures will be judged and a winner will be announced here and on the blog (brobee.blogspot.com). The first deadline is by Midnight on Thursday March 29th! So send them in! Just make sure to include your name and that they're either jpegs or gifs and not too big! Good Luck!

Birthday Fun @ The Magic Store!!!

Lunch with the Music Department Pt. 1

It is now time for the commencing of the commencement of the music department lunch blog. Food, drink, and a little howyadoin sauce for everyone to enjoy.
Today, I had some leftover whole wheat penne pasta with vegetables and a chunk of baguette. These vegetables were sauteed/steamed in a large pan the night before in a little olive oil and water. Veggies included yellow and green squash, broccoli, and carrot. The original meal contained diced extra firm tofu, but this was accidentally left behind. Sauce was Bertolli Tomato and Basil, chosen for it's mild, yet tasty flavor and lack of heartburn inducing ingredients. Some shredded parmesan was added after microwaving. For dessert, I served myself a Trader Joe's Chocolate Chunk cookie.
I don't remember what anyone else ate.

Search "Yo Gabba Gabba" on Youtube and it's pretty amazing what you'll find. For a show that hasn't even come out yet, I'm already very pleased with how it's effecting people in their homes right now.

in order to keep all of your faculties razor sharp, i decided to implement an extremely extreme weekly challenge of your wits that will require most if not all of you cerebral strength. that's right! it's guess whose facial hair of the week! the first person to identify whose facial hair this is by leaving a comment will win a glorious and possibly delicious prize! we-wa-we-wa...zoom! the only rules are that you cannot be either the photographer or the owner of the facial hair in question. go crazy!

yo gabba gabba saves another life.

so, if it wasn't for the enchanted magnetic power of the yo gabba gabba windows, this pigeon WHO WAS CAUGHT IN THE VICE-LIKE GRASP OF A FREAKIN' HUGE HAWK would have perished this last week. instead, the battling duo were drawn into our window at an extremely high velocity, the ensuing collision stunning the hawk momentarily and allowing our small, gray, pigeon friend to escape, only to find refuge in a cardboard box that e.p. so kindly lined with paper towels (the preferred box-liner of pigeons the world over). once again, yo gabba gabba saves another life, the other lives being those of a pesky narwhale and a fickle cherubim but that's another story.
