First off, we'd like to wish Kevin and Josh both a happy birthday!Without them, we truly could not have cake. Err... be the show we are today! That's better. Happy birthday guys!

Today was Pirate Day here in Gabbaland. We all walked the fun plank, and boy did we dive into the fun!

Anna won the ladies competition with a surprisingly loud amount of hoots and hollars. It was pretty great!Way to overcome the odds! Enjoy that Christian Jacobs designed Yo Gabba Gabba surfboard!

Ben took home a sweet Aleeda wetsuit today after winning the mens competition.We think it's because he had a flower in his year.

Mohawk Day brings lots of goodness!

Today was Joel Fox's birthday!Joel is an amazing Motion Graphics FX artist. You love his stop-motion pieces, we're sure of that. Happy birthday, Joel!

There were a lot of dedicated entries between all the dudes, but Michael Gump took the win with his wild 'hawk:WAY TO GO, BUDDY!

GABBA DAY at Gabbaland!

First off, we celebrated Scott Schultz's birthday by singing the loudest version of Happy Birthday these ears have ever heard.If for some reason you weren't aware of what Scott Schultz's role here in Gabbaland is, he is half the reason that Gabbaland is here. As co-creator and director of Yo Gabba Gabba, Scott makes kids all over the world smile each day. Happy birthday buddy!

Today's theme day was GABBA DAY! We all dressed up in our favorite Gabba Gear, some people made costumes, it was awesome!

Julia Vickerman once again went all out and won the womens' category!She's rocking Foofa pink head-to-toe! PINKERIFFIC!

Shana Levi-Nielsen was our first winner today, but not our only one...

Tyler Jacobs swept the mens category, dressed as the boy at the party that didn't want to be there. GREAT JOB TYLER!

Lumberjack Day!

Today was the third theme day here on YGG Season 3; Lumberjack Day!

We had lots of great participation, here are some of the best!

The female finalists:

The winner was Julia Vickerman: a great animator, storyboarder, painter and the most birthday'd girl in the office. Happy birthday Julia!
Other candidates were: Estee Castillo and Shana Levi-Nielsen... great job!

The male finalists:

Joel Fox swept the male category today with his dead-on atire, homemade axe and winning smile. Joel makes the magic happen around here, he is in charge of motion graphics and FX, so naturally, he's got the magic.
Other runner-ups were: Mark da Intern, CJ and Bryan Schlam... Huzzah!

It's Adam's birthday!

We caught Adam as he was packing up, in hopes to sneak off to the Happiest Place on Earth...



But it's a good thing that we caught him!



Adam Deibert is an amazing musician that has played major roles in the likes of The Aquabats, Digital Unicorn and Call Sound Call Noise. His talents span YouTube and beyond. His charming smile makes unicorns swoon. Adam, on this day, your birthday, we'd like to say, happy birthday! YAY!

Today we celebrated the birthdays of Ben Schultz and Avi Roffman.



Ben & Avi are two of the happiest, most birthdayiest guys around and we are happy that they could share this monumental occasion with them. There were two cakes and some ice cream from a bucket, PARTY!

Parker's birthday extravaganza!

I know what you're thinking, we just love cake right? Well yes, you are right. We love birthdays even more, today we had the great pleasure to celebrate Parker's. Just look at how surprised he was when we lured him into the birthday cave...



His mighty lungs blew out the thousands of candles with ease...

Shana turned another year wiser today! From all of us here, we'd like to shout it from the rooftops, town squares and ring out the bells... HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANA!



To celebrate, we all devoured a super delicious, vegan ice cream cake from our favorite gelato shop SCOOPS! We can't wait for her next birthday...

Now, we'd like to leave you with some fun Shana facts:

Shana's favorite fruits are: Pineapple, mango, and watermelon.
Her favorite colors are: Purple, Turquoise and zebra stripes.
Her favorite candy is the grape Ring Pop.
She can also blow spit bubbles that float and pop like real bubbles from a wand, AWESOME!

Today is Scott Johnson's birthday, hooray Scott!

Scott, AKA Scojo is an incredible costume designer and master craftsman who works on our little tugboat of a show. He came on board last season, in a pinch and ended up sticking around much to our delight.



Scott has worked with the Jim Henson Creature Shop for years and years, he also worked on Crank Yankers and the new "Where The Wild Things Are" movie as well as many other awesome productions. We are really lucky to have him, he has a great attitude and really knows his way around furry costumes.

So to you Scott, on you birthday, WE SALUTE YOU!
