Coachella Round Up - Day Three!
Day Three of Coachella came sooner than we knew it and we were super excited to get out there and enjoy the fun! We met up in the VIP area for a minute before strolling around the grounds.
Foofa got to meet one of her new "trailer neighbors", B.O.B. who we hear is going to be the next rap superstar! Awesome! He fell under Foofa's spell. She's so sweet!
Then the whole gang (remembered that they forgot to post this picture from Saturday of when they) met Diplo and Major Lazer! They were almost as excited to meet us as we were to meet them! They invited us to join their show, but due to the busy schedule later in the day, it just didn't work out. Sorry guys! We still love you!
The polo field grounds that they hold Coachella on are really beautiful. They even have a dedicated flower garden area that is absolutely amazing! It was right by the dance tent. Hmmm... Flowers and dancing, who does that remind you of?
Foofa of course! She was in absolute heaven and spent no less than three and a half hours skipping and frolicking in the flowers because, well... she loves flowers!
Eventually, she finally wandered over to the Dance Tent to see a bit of Paparazzi's set. She met lots of new friends who were super friendly and danced with her! Awesome!
And someone even took a video of it!
Meanwhile, Brobee was doing his part by hopping on the Human Hamster Wheel (they made an exception for him, being a monster). He generated enough electricity to light a small light bulb for a two seconds! So cool! Way to think about the earth there, Brobee!
After that, everyone went to join our new B.F.F. (Best Friend Forever, yo!), King Khan on stage for his set! He played "Land of the Freak" and invited us all on stage with him! It was a such a great time!
And someone in the crowd even had a camera and took a video of it and posted that video on the internet!
Later in the set, DJ Lance came out to hype the crowd up a bit some more and had a little dance off King Khan himself! It was so cool! We'd post a video of it, but The King was a little scantily-clad by this point, so if you really want to see it, it's on the interwebs. This is a kids show, after all!
After that, we went over to watch De La Soul who totally brought it! They were great and were super nice to DJ Lance earlier. Friends of Yo Gabba? They are now!
We also caught a few of Charlotte Gainsbourg's songs. She was so lovely, Foofa was in awe. Totally slammin'!
Then we caught some of Spoon's set! They were great too!
One of our favorite bands, Pavement came on next with their highly anticipated reunion! It was awesome and they ended with "Cut Your Hair"! Thanks guys!!
We couldn't believe our eyes when Gorillaz hit the stage. Their set was amazing and everyone had a blast! Yo Gabba Gabba's been a big fan of theirs for a long time, and we were in awe of their amazing video show! Here is a shot of the screen when they played "Super Fast Jelly Fish" which makes us hungry for seafood breakfast cereal (sounds like something Toodee would like!)
So that was it! A total great weekend at Coachella! What a great time we had and so many awesome memories made. Not to mention all the new friends! It was crazy! Big thanks to Paul and Goldenvoice for inviting us! We hope to see you there next year!
Stay tuned for an upcoming video of all our Coachella adventures. This was just a preview! :D

Coachella Round Up - Day Two!
Saturday morning came bright and early with the promise of lots more fun, fun, fun! The whole Yo Gabba crew headed down to the show together. Muno made sure he rested up a lot in the VIP area because seeing cool bands and meeting new friends in the raddest concert festival in the world is really hard!
Brobee ran into his old pal, Giovanni Ribisi and his daughter Lucia! Giovanni is an actor and was in some big movies! Even some of the biggest ever! He was super cool and Brobee was a happy camper. What a great way to start out the day!
Toodee was meeting new friends of her own. Here she is sneaking in a little kiss with Temper Trap singer, Dougie Mandagi! Can you blame the guy? Toodee is such a cutie!
Then it was time for the whole gang to take a stroll across the fairgrounds. They met a lot of new friends on the way who wanted to take pictures with them.
The whole crew wandered down to the Record Shop tent and just happened to run into our friend, Mark Mothersbaugh who was doing a signing with his band, Devo! Plex even got to sport a blue energy dome! Everybody, it's a good thing!
After that, Muno talked everybody else into taking a ride on the Ferris Wheel! (I think it was actually called the "Giant Wheel", probably due to some copyright laws)
Here's a better view of Muno waving to everybody. You could see for MILES from up there!
After that, Plex took a quick trip to the ATM machine. He wanted to check his balance before buying some T-shirts and was surprised to find that it printed out a fan letter! Apparently they have basic cable in ATM land as well.
So everyone headed back to the Artist Lounge to meet more of their trailer neighbors. See, all the friends they made Friday had moved on and so they had a whole slew of new friends to make! Here is Plex meeting a girl named Beth Ditto who sings in a band called The Gossip. She was super funny and made Plex LOL all over the place.
Then Plex walked over over and met this guy, Claudio Sanchez who sings for Coheed and Cambria. He was super friendly and had amazing hair. (Plex sure wished he could grow hair at all, but that's against the Official Robot Code of Conduct).
Meanwhile, Brobee was out rubbing shoulders with celebrities (does Brobee have shoulders?) and he was thrilled to meet Mr. Danny Devito! Now, Brobee is too young to remember Taxi or Twins, but he was just excited to meet someone his same height!
Muno got to meet Imogen Heap who was wearing a really cool hat! She was really nice and Muno invited her to come to Gabbaland some time. Wouldn't that be fun?
Suddenly, Brobee met up with King Khan who is in a band called King Khan and The Shrines! He was super awesome, and he loves Yo Gabba Gabba like so much! We became instant BFF's (that stands for Best Friends Forever, dontchaknow?). This wouldn't be the last we'd see of King Khan!
Meanwhile, Muno lent a hand to all the hard working roadies back behind the Outdoor Stage. They were loading up equipment for Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros who totally rocked!
Toodee agreed, as she enjoyed the set on the other side of the stage, dancing with the hippies!
She felt a little bad afterwards, so she agreed to move some equipment around for Hot Chip.
Back at the Artist Lounge, Brobee was so excited to run into some of his old friends - Gaspard from Justice, Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT and Christian Jacobs from The Aquabats!
Andrew asked Christian to sign his jeans...
...and it looks like YGG loves MGMT!
...and vice versa! The circle of love is complete!
Then Brobee ran into Paul Walker who also is a big hollywood actor! Not to mention a nice guy! They shared a few laughs about something or another.
Suddenly, Brobee felt a rumbly in his tumbly, so he headed over to the Cafeteria and loaded up on some healthy treats! Yes, there was a party in his tummy for sure.
Now he had the energy to go out and watch Muse, who were amazing! It was a good thing the show was outside, because they would have totally torn the roof off of the place! Great job, guys!
Brobee and Foofa totally loved it!
And of course, the evening ended with an amazing set from Devo! They were incredible!!
What an amazing day it was Saturday! What would Sunday hold in store for the Yo Gabba Gabba gang? We would soon find out!

Coachella Round Up - Day One!
Hey everybody! We hope you had a good weekend... five days ago. We've been very busy recuperating from Coachella! Resting our legs, generously applying aloe vera to our sunburns and taking naps. I think we're ready to blog about it now!
We showed up Friday morning just in time! Muno almost didn't get in!
But once all the gang was there, we saw the excited crowd who was ready to burst with anticipation.
Cardboard DJ Lance Glasses were handed out and everyone got ready for the time of their lives.
Lance soon took the stage, sharing a few songs from the show before bringing out Muno, Toodee, Brobee, Plex and Foofa to get down!
The crowd went crazy! There was a party in everyone's tummy! There was confetti! It was insane! Even the most jaded hipsters couldn't resist smiling and dancing a bit to the sounds of Yo Gabba Gabba!
The set went great and everybody had a blast. But the fun didn't end there! No, not by a longshot. We had only just begun! The Gabba Gang were sticking around for all three days to enjoy the music and meet new friends! And then suddenly, in weird twist of fate, DJ Lance met Parry Farrell!
Then we all got invited to visit Them Crooked Vultures backyard BBQ! Here's a shot of Josh Homme and Dave Grohl and they're beautiful little girls! They were super nice and the food smelled great!
Then we wandered back to our trailer and Plex took a little break in the VIP area.
After a few minutes, Plex was determined to meet all our new "dressing room neighbors". This is Chris Thompson and he plays drums for Vampire Weekend!
And this is Ezra Koenig. He's the singer for Vampire Weekend!
Muno however, decided to go out and enjoy some of the bands!
Plex met his neighbor, Ed Droste from a band called Grizzly Bear. Ed invited Plex to come and watch their set.
Plex was very grateful and they shared a big hug before they parted ways.
Then Plex took a quick hop over to the main stage where one of his favorite bands, The Specials were totally killing it! He danced on the side of the stage... until he was kindly asked to leave.
...and someone took video of it!
Then Plex headed back and met these guys from Ra Ra Riot!
Then Plex headed backstage during Passion Pit's show to get a picture with Jay-Z. He gracefully declined, but we got this one anyway.
Meanwhile, a guy named John Mayer asked to take his picture Muno.
...and then Muno ran into his friend Busy Phillips that he met at the Party in my City show. Her name is Busy!
Then Muno headed around to the front of the stage to watch Passion Pit and got a high five from Michael Angelakos, the guy who sings all their songs!
...and someone took video of it!
Plex headed back and introduced himself to his trailer neighbor, Chris Keating. He's in a band called Yeasayer who played earlier that day. And are awesome.
Around this time, Muno was out in the crowd, rocking out to his friends in Them Crooked Vultures on the big stage.
Backstage, Plex saw a sign on a door that said "LCD SOUNDSYSTEM" and was hoping there would be another robot inside. But alas, it was only this human named James Murphy who turned out to be a super cool guy anyway!
Then Plex headed over to see his friend Ed and the Grizzly Bears play, but the camera wasn't working for some reason. So after enjoying a few songs, he headed out and met this really cool french guy named Gaspard. He's in a group called Justice and they even played Coachella before once! Cool!
Then Plex stopped by the Ruth's Chris steak stand and fried up some steaks for the kids. He didn't stay too long because he didn't want to make the employees uncomfortable. Who wants their job to be replaced by a robot anyway?
Then Plex ended the night by watching his friend James' band LCD Soundsystem play under a giant disco ball! It was awasome!
The first day was incredible, and it was bound to get even better the next day! Stay tuned for Day Two!
