TIME's Top 10 New TV Series

#8. Yo Gabba Gabba!
Nickelodeon

The most delightfully bizarre kids' show since Pee-Wee's Playhouse is a marriage of club music, edgy animation and surreal imagery that will convince you someone slipped something into your Fruity Pebbles. Like a rave party for kids, with art segments by Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh and music from bands like The Shins, it's gorgeous-looking silly fun, for adults too. In the words of one of its highly contagious songs, this is a show with a party in its tummy.

Cool Kicks

Our GOGO13 buddy Grik from San Diego tricked out these cool custom Vans. I think he did a fantastic job. However, sorry kids... you can't buy them because he made those for himself. But remember, you can buy other Yo Gabba Gabba stuff here!

Yo Gabba Gabba! On The Cover of OC WEEKLY

This week our boys are featured on the front cover of OC WEEKLY!
I can't find the article online(yet) but if you have the means, I highly recommend picking this issue up. It's probably my favorite written piece on the Yo Gabba experience. The reason is is that it paints a more accurate picture of where Scott and Christian are coming from, and where we hope to go. Thank you OC WEEKLY!

Does anyone remember Intern #001 Mike Z? Well, his hair is all grown up now and he looks great in his new Kidrobot Plex T-shirt. You should re-grow the mustache though.

Mike has been busy lately making birds turn into sodas. Observe. Word!

Newsweek Interviews Biz!!

Check out this interview I just stumbled across Newsweek's relatively long interview Mr. Biz Markie on his involvement with (and love for) Yo Gabba Gabba. Biz says: "I really want to be the black Mr. Rogers, that's my goal. I would do everything the same, but with a hip-hop feel to it." Gotta love the Biz.

Halloweeniest Gabbaliciousness

OK you are probably over it, but I had to share these Pumpkins! This comes from Ella and Owen Gray of Edina, Minnesota. You can tell that by looking at the jack-o-lanterns that they spent extra time picking out just the right pumpkins. The Brobee pumpkin is a bit unripe and is kind of green..perfect! And of course, the Muno is just the right shape and is covered with bumps. Bravo!

KidRobot loves Yo Gabba Gabba!

Vinyl toy geniuses, KidRobot announced yesterday a new line of Yo Gabba Gabba Vinyl toys and clothing. In their own words:

The new face of children's television, Yo Gabba Gabba!, is rocking away as it gives kids and adults an entire world of fun to wrap their mind around while losing their marbles. We don't want you to be left empty handed though, so we're premiering a series of 7-inch to 10-inch figures at $24.95, as well as our collection of Kidrobot Loves Yo Gabba Gabba! apparel. Forget how old you are and relive the days of sugarfrosted cereal and Saturday morning cartoons.

These are highly collectable vinyl representations of the monsters from the show, complete with texture and awesome packaging. Look for these on shelves November 21st wherever fine KidRobot toys are sold. (Meaning, these are higher-end collectables, not something you'd find at Toys R Us. But look for more kid-friendly merchaindise in the very near future...)

So Long to our Santa Ana home.

The dawn of September marks the end of our lease at our season 1 production home in Santa Ana. Now we're finishing up the last of our post-production in these smaller offices at the studios. We've had so many fun memories there. I'm going to miss everything but the cockroaches.
